This is the first book in the scared series. It follows Jackson (who was introduced in Infinite fear). He has changed his wasy, works at his faher`s shop, and got accepted at Brown, who also happens that his best friend Jade is going to.
He decides to suprise her but he gets to meet her roomate Maia. From the start they are both inrigued by each other. They both have past issues that makes it hard for them to trust and move forward.
This was an easy read. L`m not a big fan of romance book, but it was good book. I liked the concept of each Jackson and Maia having their own chapters and giving their point of views and seeing how much they damaged but they needed to break away and move forward.
Was well written, was interesting, just not my kind of genre.
