In Fall with Me, Roxy has been in love with Reece since she was 15, but when Reece thought he slept with her on a night when he was drunk, Roxy takes exception to him characterizing their night together as "a mistake." For months, Roxy has avoided Reece, even though she knows they didn't really sleep together that night, but Reece has started to show up after work and making it seem as though he is really interested in pursuing a relationship with her. At the same time, Roxy is suffering with anger, frustration, and guilt as the man who hurt her best friend is getting out of jail and wants to see her to make amends. Will Roxy and Reece be able to move past their secrets in order to find happiness together, and will Roxy discover what has been happening in her apartment as she finds things in odd places? Is her apartment haunted?
This story is an extremely well written romance that asks lots of questions about lying, secrets, and guilt. The only problem that I had with the story was that Reece seemed too good to be true, but other than that minor complaint, I really enjoyed this story. ( )

Actually yes! If you've read any of my reviews you'll probably have guessed that I'm obsessed with romance. Literally, you can hand me any book (or film for that matter) with even the slightest hint at romance in it and I'll give it a shot.



When I read [b:Stay with Me|19501672|Stay with Me (Wait for You, #3)|J. Lynn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1400524327s/19501672.jpg|24797649] I knew straight away that there was going to be a book about Roxy and Reece (loving the name choice by the way, I'm a sucker for alliteration).
There was obviously something between the two and I really cannot wait to see their relationship develops!

When this one started I was not sure if I was going to love it. Some things sounded repetitive from the previous books. Boy was I wrong! This was so intense!

I read this while my husband was out of town for work. I am not going to lie! I was scared at night being home alone. It never got too crazy, but just the anticipation of what was going to happen had me on the edge of my seat.

JLA is killing this series!! On to the next!! ( )

Het eerste wat mij opviel was de cover, een mooie aantrekkelijke cover met een aantrekkelijk stel erop. Ik had er echt zin in. Zo snel mogelijk het boek waar ik mee bezig was uitgelezen, en op naar deze. Val voor mij leest makkelijk en snel weg. Het is dat ik moest werken, anders had ik het binnen een dag uitgelezen.

De boeken van deze dame stonden al een tijdje op mijn verlanglijst, op aanraden van mijn meiden. Zonder de eerste drie delen gelezen te hebben ben ik aan dit boek begonnen, en dat stoorde in het geheel niet. Wel is het zo dat ik deel een, twee en drie nu wel ga lezen ;)

Het is een heerlijk ontspannend boek en het leest lekker weg. Ik heb regelmatig zitten lachen om de heerlijke schrijfstijl. En toch zit er echte spanning in het boek. Niet alleen seksuele spanning maar ook echte spanning in het kader van in levensgevaar verkeren.

De irritantste persoon die ik kende stond hier geparkeerd. Gek genoeg speelde diezelfde persoon de hoofdrol in al mijn fantasieën. Nou ja, voornamelijk de vieze.
Reece Anders was hier, en ik wist niet of ik hem een trap in zijn ballen moest geven of dat ik hem moest kussen.

Twee handen belandden op de plank naast mijn schouders en hij kreeg het voorelkaar om nog iets verder voorover te buigen. Zijn warme adem danste over mijn wang. Een rilling liep over mijn rug. Whoa. Meisjesdelen geactiveerd, geprogrammeerd en klaar om op te stijgen

Ik weet dat een aantal mensen Roxy erg dom vinden omdat ze niet direct actie onderneemt als er dingen gebeuren in haar huis, spullen anders liggen op een andere plek. De vaatwasser staat ineens te draaien.

Maar:
- De beste stuurlui staan altijd aan wal
- Mijn autosleutels heb ik ook weleens in de vriezer teruggevonden

Een van mijn favoriete scene in het boek is degen waarmee Roxy met een boek de voorruit van een Mustang laat barsten.

Ik graaide in mijn tas, haalde het eerste het beste substantiële ding eruit dat mijn vingers aanraakten en zwiepte mijn arm achteruit als een ervaren honkbalpitcher.
De zware hardcovereditie van New Moon vloog als een steen door de lucht -net als de steen die onze levens verwoest had- en raakte de voorruit van Henry's Mustang.
Het glas barstte.

Wat mij opvalt is dat in Nederland de boeken onder haar eigen naam verschijnen, terwijl ze deze boeken geschreven heeft onder de pseudoniem J. Lynn.
Mede omdat dit onder New Adult valt. Duidelijk een ander genre dan Young Adult.

de Serendipity Books Books Club.

This book was just as cute and enjoyable as the others in this series! It was a quick read. I felt it ended a little abruptly though which left me kind of disappointed. ( )
