I did not realize how many different authors have their own version of this book. I did not like how Rashin mentioned the old lady perhaps may die because of her swallowing the fly. The ending made me drop my mouth because she actually wounded up dead! I would say this book was meant for kindergarten and first grade because of the rhyming and prediction. But because it mentions the word die and dead, I would not read this to my children. This is a good book for kindergartners and first graders because it has great illustrations and the students can easily predict what will happen next. There is also I plenty of examples of figurative speech presented in this book such as onomatopoeia and personification. The book is about a lady who swallowed a fly and feels the need to swallow other animals to catch the previous animals she swallowed. The book ends in her swallowing a horse and dying because the horse was too massive for her stomach to hold. This book is a fiction book. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
