Detective Rosemary Cooper of the NYPD considered herself an experienced time traveler. That is until she touched the mysterious yellow-green glass, and found herself catapulting back through space and time to the glass's fiery creation, before being dumped in 1989 Iraq, where she was Referred to as a he. Forced to wear a burqa. Traded to Iraqi soldiers. Fired on by an AK-47. Attacked by a spider bigger than a New York City rat. All this and she didn't have a clue as to why her predestine causality loop had seen fit to transport her to a place and time in history of which she had little knowledge or understanding. Nor could she figure out what connection any of it had with her or the present? The only thing she knew for sure was that there was something festering in the desert, waiting to destroy her and perhaps the world as she knew it. Could she find the key to unlock the puzzle binding the past to the present before time ran out? Or had the sand already run through the glass?… (plus d'informations)
