I have chosen this book only becuase of the synopis. It sound good and frankly i do not care that it is a YA book. I am reading the ebook. On the first page of the book, you are told that there is something strange going on, she sees a man standing and the horse shied etc. for the next many pages, it was meeting boyfriend, having sleepover with some friends, going to a party, dont like the party etc. The writing style was that of an 17 year old. yes i am aware it is YA and the character is 17 but that does not mean that a book needs to be written in the style of 16 year old girl. I had to stop reading the book because i felt that after 7% of the book, a bit more should have been introduced and not just boring everyday stuff. I hope it would be good but i will never find out. Maybe my 17 year old daughter likes it. I cant say that i did not like it but the maturity level was definitely not there and there are many YA books that are simply amazing, I honestly dont see why i should be wasting my time with a book i cant get into when there are so many other books await me. I am glad that it gets a lot of good reviews from other readers.

Took me about thirty seconds and I was hooked....great characters, great plot, not a YA, more adult...looking forward to the next in the series....a couple of late nights staying up to read this! Couldn't turn off my iPad! ( )

I had read this book as part of an ebook collection of Fantasy novels titled Magic and Mayhem.
I really enjoyed this book. I've always been a sucker for a strong female lead, and Anora Benson was certainly that. She's a bad ass witch who isn't afraid to do what is necessary to kick some ass. She meets a handsome Demon hunter, Ethan and they fight various and assorted demons, such as the Pricolici which are Demon bounty hunters. The book is fast paced and it's got everything...Demons, Ghosts, Legacy covens ,Demon hunters etc. Unbound needs a bit of work on it's editing, but overall, I enjoyed Emily Goodwin's novel and I certainly look forward to reading the next book in this series.
