But since that was resolved very quickly I have nothing left to be excited about. And this book is too long to finish just because I feel like I have to. I can't do it anymore. There's nothing there. Even Gavin can't keep me going anymore. The first few chapters of this book should've just been added to the first book and it would've been an okay read. This second book adds nothing and after reading some other reviews I'm glad I stopped here. Life is too short as it is. In short: if you weren't blown away by the first book, skip this one (or just read the first few chapters and call it a day). Gavin Blake is so mush better in this book compared to the first one in the series. Not that there is anything wrong with the first book. But man does he really step up the game. With Emily finally choosing the man of her dreams and going after him when he gives up all hope of them ever been together life looks good for the newly formed couple. That is until the unimaginable thing happens (read the book to find out more about this). Once again the ex is involved in their lives and won't give up without a fight. Loved every minute of this journey. There is one scene that is totally heart-ripping towards the end. If you've read it you know what I'm talking about. So did not see it coming. Will be missing Gavin Blake, but he will be well remembered. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

From the New York Times bestselling indie author, the conclusion to the sexy contemporary romance that began in Collide, about a woman torn between her seemingly perfect boyfriend and a dark, mysterious stranger. "Do you know how scary it is to want something so bad you're willing to change your whole life for it?" Emily Cooper is ready to risk everything to be with the man who has consumed her thoughts and dreams since the fateful day they met. Unraveling fast, she can only cling to the hope that Gavin Blake still wants her. Nursing his wounded heart, Gavin has cut himself off from society and retreated into a self-destructive, mind-numbing world. Emily isn't used to being the strong one, but she'll have to find the daring and confidence within to fight for their love and bring Gavin back from the edge--even if it means losing herself to their all-consuming, pulse-pounding passion. A New York Times bestseller, Pulse is the unforgettable conclusion to the story of Emily and Gavin that began with Collide. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
