A quick treatment of the genius of Einstein. This book, illustrated with a messy style reminiscent of Einstein's own haphazard appearance, is a very simple introduction to his work. The actual ideas that Einstein worked with are given only a sentence or two. This book mostly focuses on the idea that genius often comes with differences, and those are what made Einstein unique, and what enabled him to ferret out some of the most baffling ideas in science. Not so much a science supplement for introducing his theories, but a great book for kids who struggle with feeling different. ( )

This personalized story of Einstein gives us a view of what it might be like to grow up a little different from other people. Largely misunderstood as a child, his mind is full of thoughts and great ideas. It's a fun and easy read. ( )

This is a great book as it has Albert Einstein as a child who is different and quirky and his mind is always wondering. He wonders about time, space, and on a beam of light. It has him grow and shows how because he had such "big" wonderings, he became one of the smartest men in the world. It encourages the need to keep questioning, to be curious, and how it is okay to be different. ( )

Even as a very young boy, Albert Einstein was fascinated with a myriad of ideas and possibilities. Though his behavior was often questioned, he grew up to be one of the most revolutionary scientific minds of all time.
