Any book cover with a smoking hot firefighter on it is bound to grab my attention, so when I saw this cover, I couldn’t resist. This was my first read by Eden Summers, and after this, it won’t be my last.
Ever since Tarney received her first kiss from Ethan, her best friend’s brother, she’s had a crush on him. But a warning from Jenna to stay away from him has kept her from acting on her desires. Besides, Ethan has a girlfriend now, so either way he’s off limits. If she can only look, but not touch, it’s either a blessing or a cruel twist of fate that the house she bought happens to be next to his. When she discovers that she has a mostly unobstructed view into his house while he works out, what is a girl to do but become a perving peeping tom? From the confines of her dark porch, she watches and lusts. What could possibly go wrong?
This story had every I love about an erotic romance novella. The characters had sizzling chemistry, there was drama, hot sex, and most importantly, there was a lot of humor. The author not only wrote a few laugh out loud moments with descriptive events, but she infused the characters with wit, cheekiness, and cockiness but there was also an underlying vulnerability to both of them. I think those qualities made me feel more connected to Tarney and Ethan.
The ending was perfect for them. It came full circle and was ridiculously romantic *swoon*
