Carina Fiore, a pet groomer working out of veterinarian Cameron McKenzie's office, and also helps him in his personal life by taking care of his daughter, Kaitlyn. She has secretly been in love with him for over a year but needs a little push to gain the courage to risk their friendship by letting him know how she feels. Once she does, she has to make a decision about whether she should stay in their lives and live only a half-life without his returning her feelings. It takes a bit of tough love before he sees what has been there all along.
(This story takes place shortly before the Hendrix triplets joint wedding.)

King Mukhtar of El Deharia is tired of waiting for his six sons to find brides and give him grandchildren. With the help of his sister, Princess Lina, his son, As'ad is nudged into taking on the care of three orphaned girls and their teacher, Kayleen James. It comes to pass that a marriage between the two is planned so they can both adopt the children. There is an immediate undercurrent of attraction; however Kayleen, although innocent, is also outspoken (part of his attraction to her) and expects more than just a marriage of convenience. He has been raised to believe than any strong emotion, particularly love, makes men weak so he is hesitant to listen to the pull of his heart. (
