An encounter with a strange medallion leaves sixteen year old Gestalt possessed by the spirit of an ancient Demon King, making him a key player in a war between the Demon King and the Goddess of Life. Unfortunately, the Demon King wants to destroy the world and the Goddess wants to enslave everyone in it!With the aid of a talking teddy bear, a grumpy demon dog and a unicorn princess who wants to marry him, Gestalt embarks on a journey to stop the Goddess' sinister plot and find a way to get rid of the Demon King - yet, he must also rely on the dark power of the Demon King in order to stand a chance against the powerful minions of the Goddess. Can Gestalt resist against the corrupting temptations of the Demon King and save the world, rather than destroy it? Is it even possible for a mere human to stand up against the power of a Goddess? Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

First , I love to read stories where the writer give you descriptions of events/feelings that you yourself have experienced. No, no I have never been on a battle field wearing armor, but I know what cold metal feels like, I know what an ice block feels like. This sentence brings it all together and conjures up images that are familiar to the reader.
Martell does a wonderful job of this throughout the whole book.
I was immediately engrossed in the fantasy that Pandemonia Chronicles: DAWN offered me. You do have to feel somewhat sorry for Gestalt Balmont in the beginning and what the villagers mistake him for, but you soon realize that this is all necessary in order for him to meet the cutest character ever: Jofur.(Think of him as your naughty Moogle in Final Fantasy, but he is a talking bear)
Young , or young at heart Fans of fantasy anime/manga such as Record of Lodoss War by Ryo Mizuno will appreciate this book written for a younger audience. Or if you are more familiar with the 1980’s cartoon show called Dungeons and Dragons put out by TSR based on the RPG you will definitely enjoy Dawn. ( )
