This book is about the process of someone taking their car to the the car shop to get something fixed. It goes through all that the things that happen at a full service station like getting gas, how things are fixed, how gas is pumped, etc. The first thing I didn't like about this book was the language. The books language was rather complicated and descriptive and I'm not sure a child reading this book would be able to follow along very well. For example, on one of the pages the book is describing how the hydraulic lift of a car works. Next, the illustrations and graphics are too detailed and hard to follow. On one of the pages when the book is talking about where the gasoline is stored, the graphic goes into all the different storage tanks and the pipelines of a gas station. I can see how the book wants the reader to focus more on the illustration but it gets complicated. My final critique of this book comes from the story's plot. The style of the book goes back and forth between telling the readers about the detailed information about the parts of a service station to the things that happen at a service station. I often felt myself confused and lost while reading. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
