First 150 pages were rather tedious to read with Fernande having numerous meaningless affairs one after another but where she talks about Picasso and other famous artists, art dealers, poets the book becomes an important and unique look into their personalities, their lifestyle and their journey from oblivion to popularity, almost always honestly depicting the various traits of their personalities.
