Another sensational, but mostly wrong, attempt to link the murder of President Kennedy to everyone alive in 1963.

Readers should take heed of Crossfire's first line - "Do not trust this book". Author Jim Marrs acknowledges upfront he's often indulging in speculation about Kennedy's fate, and at times the holes in his reasoning are big enough to drive a presidential motorcade through. Despite its sometimes flimsy arguments, Crossfire is a compelling, worthwhile read for anybody who suspects the truth does not end with Oswald and his dodgy gun. ( )

Alas, this is a pretty terrible book. It has its moments, but the standards of argumentation in this book are not up to what the field of assassinology needs and deserves. ( )
