( ) This reminded me of "God Save the Queen" by Mike Carey and John Bolton in its mixing of British Youth culture and Faeries, but I would say of the two books I enjoyed "Suburban Glamour" more. Astrid, the central character, is delightful and her and her friends feel like real teenagers as they go about thier daily lives, and the fantasy storyline is engaging with a a wounderly uplifting ending. But the real star of the show is Mckelvie's beautiful art, every page is simply stunning! Recomended for sure. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Life's tough when you're a teenager -- homework, boy trouble, andmeddling parents. So when you throw in imaginary friends turned real, monsterattacks, and faerie magic -- well, that's just not fair, is it? Suburban Glamour Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
