The Dragon Who Loved Me picks up five years after the last book, with Fearghus leading the dragon troops and Annwyl leading her humans in a long and exhausting war. This book follows Rhona the Fearless (daughter of Bradana and one of the infamous Cadwaladr dragons - although she's a lot less bloodthirsty than the rest) and Vigholf the Abhorrent, brother to Ragnar the Cunning and one of the Northland purple lightning dragons. I really liked Rhona and I loved Vigholf. I would've easily said this was my absolute favourite book ever. And then it happened. Izzy appeared and Rhona Anyway. Until that point I was fully rooting for Rhona and Vigholf. Vigholf was adorable trying to woo her. And Rhona was likeable too. Until Izzy. And until she started doubting Annwyl. I mean really? She's a soldier who always follows orders - but this is the point she decides to think for herself? It irritated me. The rest was fantastic. I loved Annwyl. I loved that she's like Rhona and Vigholf... I didn't really have a lasting impression of Rhona before this book, but I did of Vigholf and I was happy to see another Lightning get a book so soon. It was quite a roller coaster of a story though, with so much war and scary things going on in the sidelines of their romance. We get to see how the twins and Rhian have grown and a bit of what they are capable of. We get to see some more of Keita and Ragnar along with most of the characters from all the previous books. We even get to see the gods messing with the family again. At the end, we finally learn what had sent Eibhear off the deep end and I'm VERY anxious for his book! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
