Modern Poetry includes wolf-guy poem

The book is a non-fiction modern poetry book. I can only remember one poem from it.

The poem is about a girl who is like little red riding hood and she begins to like this guy. He seems nice at first, but she fails to realize his true nature as he lurks around her. It is not until the end of the poem that she realizes that he is the “wolf” and she was always the “prey”.
I am positive that the words “wolf” and “prey” were used in the poem, and I think that the last line of the poem was something along the lines of, “He was the wolf, and I was always the prey.”

I found this poetry book in Barnes and Noble in the year of 2019. I cannot remember the title of the book, or the author. I do know it was a paperback book (white pages with black letters), and that it was not thick. It was perhaps around 130 pages.
The poem that I remember took up two pages, but the poem was short in width.

I’m not positive, but the book might have been partitioned into different sections of emotion in the author’s life such as: the hurting and finding happiness.

The language of the book was in English, and it was published between the years of 2012-2019.

This poetry book was similar in style to books like “Milk and Honey” and “the princess saves herself in this one.”
It is not any of Courtney Peppernell’s books (they are too thick, and I could not find the poem in any of them.)

I was a teenager when I read this book. I don’t think there was a specific age-range for it, but I can see young adults enjoying this.

I have tried searching up the poem on google with no luck. I also went back to Barnes and Noble and looked through the poetry books (page by page), and I could not find the poetry book or poem.

I would really appreciate anyone’s ideas as to the name of this book, or the poem in the book.
