I didn't manage to read 75 books in 2020 (for the first time since joining LibraryThing), but that was due to being a fulltime plus health care worker during the first wave of Covid, and then getting a new puppy after I retired in the fall. But hopefully if puppy stops chewing everything in sight and ever settles down, I'll be able to get more reading in this year.

Hi Terry, nIce to see you! Happy New Year and great news about you retiring. And a new puppy, you will be busy!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. Pup is still keeping me on my toes, but I hope to get a bit more reading in soon. I did just finish a Canadian non fiction work, which I found quite interesting esp. as I'd never heard of Harry Oakes before (rumoured at one time to be the richest man in the British Empire-made his fortune through gold mining in Kirkland Lake, Ontario). Murdered Midas by Charlotte Gray. 1st book finished in 2021 for me!
