funding

hey just a question to all the LGBT library's that are connected to community centers. Are you your own department and have a funding budget or are you part of another department and share funding with them? The reason I ask is because our library is part of the center services department and we share our funding with them in other words we have no funding :(

Our library is part of the GLBT Student Support Services Office at Indiana University Bloomington. We usually do not have too much funding, but if a donation comes in to the office, part is shared with the library for collection development & other library needs. There's never much, but we get a fairly steady stream of (worthwhile) book donations in addition to monetary gifts.
