À mon sujetFrench, in my thirties, love literature and travel.
Bibliophile, book whore and French librarian, with an interest to teach what I love (Literature/Lettres Modernes/English), my long-term interest lies into teaching English, and my short-term ambition is to become qualified in the subject I love, Literature.
So far, I managed to get an undergraduate Diploma in Literature (DipLit, 2009). Currently studying for a BA (Hons.) in Literature.
À propos de ma bibliothèqueThere are many different books, from a wide range of themes and languages. I have read and used the books I placed so far on LibraryThing, and I heartily recommend them to you.
My passion for reading was set by the age of four, I self-taught myself to read fluently by then. Instead of imposing my various interests to others, I wish that people would read more, as part of a lifelong commitment, for pleasure and for fun, be them the sports pages of a newspaper, chick lit or biographies. Education is hard to come by if you are not given a chance by either your environment or your family, so reading can be the key that leads to intellectual fulfilment. The smallest effort can be very rewarding, I assure you!

Interesting library you got, I'm sure I'll come up with some good reading recommendations :)
Happy New year to you.

We need not count
every seed atop
the swaying grasses
or number the waves
rolling onto the rocky shore
or measure how far we can see
before the ocean vast
meets the sky immense.
We need not imagine
how many fishes
wander the depths
or where the stars reside
in the blue sky of day.
Nor must we be aware
of our hearts
pumping in our chests
or the movement of tiny sparks
in the neurons of our brains.
We only need sense
the One who creates
and sustains all things
and breathes when we breathe,
cries when we cry.
