À mon sujetI'm me. I'm an oldish lady with Asperger Syndrome. I love to read. I'm hating chemotherapy but I'll live.

"I added you to my 'interesting library' list (which I hope you don't mind) primarily because of your picture. It reminds me of my school pictures from the 1950s. The bangs are quite similar. Similar collars. Oh - also, I love Historical Mysteries so there is that. I think our school pictures are Historical Mysteries. Oh wait maybe thats your monther's school picture. Nevermind."
Nope -- this is really me! I guess that means I'm a geezer, huh? Well, at least a boomer. (Technically, I'm among the very last of the boomers.) And I'll have you know that this was from the 1960's, thank you. (grin) As for the bangs, my mom wasn't the best with the scissors, was she? She probably cringed when she saw this one. But at least I'm wearing a dress, which was a victory in itself for her. (I hated that dress.) In any case, this was the last decent photo of me ever taken, so here it is...
Of course I don't mind, but I'd like to be able to see your library, too. I'm always interested in others' catalogs, as my own is very eclectic. Yes, the historical mysteries take the main stage here on LibThing, but we have thousands of other books like so many folks here. BTW, where is the Alice in Wonderland sculpture? Are those your children?
