A propos de ma bibliothèque
Mostly nonfiction, with some concentration in US history, quilt/textile history, Pacific Northwest (loosely defined), disasters, travel/ exploration/ mountaineering, and whatever science topics look interesting. Got rid of most of my paperbacks years ago; I won't catalog titles read earlier unless I replace them.

My catalog mostly represents books actually in my possession. I tend to read several books at once, reading a chapter or two as I can find time. I am trying to rate and review all books as I read them. I applied ratings to some books read in the past, but have done few retrospective reviews. My ratings tend to run high, reflecting my 50-page policy: if the book doesn't grab my attention within 50 pages, it isn't coming home with me.
