A propos de ma bibliothèque
My library originally resided in a single bookcase made to measure by my father for the flat he and my mother lived in when I was born. It later migrated to cheap bookcases after I left university, and now fills (and overfills) bookcases specially built by my sister, running wall to wall and floor to ceiling in two rooms.

The collection itself just grew like Topsy, originally gleanings from second-hand stores while I was studying, and now from both new and used sources.
A propos de moi
I am a New Zealander who has been living in Australia for a number of years. Besides an obvious love of reading, a cursory glance at my tags reflects my fondness for France and walking, amongst others, an appreciation for architecture, and a professional interest in computer security.
