À propos de ma bibliothèqueOriginally I was only using LibraryThing to track books I'd read (although I've only worked my way back to late 2000).

I'm now adding the books I own as well, even if I haven't read them. I have all the genre fiction inventoried in BYRON, so I've dumped the list of ISBNs from it and they are slowly trickling in.

As a result of the import, I keep stumbling across things which are, well, kinda dirty data. I clean them up as I notice them and have time to correct them -- but feel free to point to me anything that's causing problems and I'll fix it.

ah! thanks for the clarification. Byron also happened to be the name of the computer system, used since the mid-80s, at the independent bookstore mini-chain where i worked-- Olssons Books and Records in Washington DC. And I know Byron's creator, the Wallace Haines company, licenses Byron or his cousins to a dozen other booksellers around the country; so i wondered if your source was ultimately some version of that bookselling database. but i suppose not...
happy new year...
Hi -- when you say you got book data from BYRON, do you mean BYRON as in Wallace Haines Co.?
Hello,

Just stopping in and saying hello!

I found your site online and really like the books you have chosen. Thanks!

Dear Heather
I noticed that we had 85 books in common, which is startling because I have only cataloged 285 books so far. Nice to meet you, and I will mark your library as "interesting" for referrals to other authors and series!
Susan
This is the one that absolutely kills me.
