My library is on the large side. My grandparents were avid readers. My grandfather had a hobby as an auctioneer and often took payment in boxes of books. My mother is a former librarian. When we cleaned out my grandparents' house after my grandfather died, it was decided that since I had the biggest house a library would be built in my house to contain all the books. Thus my addiction was fed. The contractors said I would never be able to fill all the shelves I made them build. We have had to 'discard' books twice since April 2001 to make room for new aquisitions. I believe books are meant to be shared and read so I have joined this site to do just that.

I am a stay-at-home homeschooling mom of eight wonderful children. We are a Catholic family deeply involved in our parish and our faith life. I enjoy the individuality of each of my children. I have a degree in Biology with a specialization in Marine Science (so, yes, I know what caused all those kids happened). I am the wife of an undertaker who does not look like an undertaker from the movies! We live in a small town in northern New Hampshire. Obviously, I have a book addiction. Among addictions, I figure this one is pretty safe.
