Let the books and authors speak for themselves.

I've only included those books which I consider either 5 stars (meaning masterpieces, in my mind) or books which have exercised considerable influence on me or have served to educate me on an important life matter, even if not masterpieces.

Why list them this way? Really, because I want to use this website as a tool for finding books and authors similar to the ones which are especially important to me. Does that make this a bit of a literary crucible? Possibly.

We'll see how it goes!
