À mon sujetI'm a book lover, just like everyone else on Library Thing!

After earning a BA in bacteriology many eons ago, I am now attending a community college, with plans to transfer to a four-year school. I'm working towards a second BA; this time in art -- with a minor in either non-fiction writing or psychology. Or maybe I'll combine all three interests. My goal is to eventually earn a Masters; maybe even a PhD; but all that will be years away. Being a student means that in the past year I haven't had as much time to read and review books (and closed my blog -- some reviews here may still refer to that or have linkbacks to it). Still always a LibraryThing devotee, though!

À propos de ma bibliothèqueI read just about everything!

Although my library shows a high percentage of mysteries, it isn't a genre that I read regularly now. But, a good one now and then does hit the spot. I can't bear to get rid of my Agatha Christie paperback collection that I amassed years ago while I was in college (the first time around)!

Generally, I lean towards reading literary fiction, classics, and non-fiction (especially history and art history). I usually don't read new releases right away (especially if I suspect it's been highly hyped).

Sometimes I'm fortunate enough to get a LibraryThing ER copy, then that way I do get a chance to read something that's "new".

My TBR (to-be-read) pile, if all put together in a stack, would be about as tall as I am -- perhaps even taller than me!

O I see well I think I'll give it a try. P.S. Hakawati is one of my all time favorite books.
Hi thanks for the suggestion. I see tat you also recently added The Mistress of Spices to your library. I've been looking at reading it how did you like it?
