À mon sujetI love books. I like looking at them, handling them, browsing through them, sorting them, holding them, stacking them, sharing them. Sometimes I even get around to reading them.

À propos de ma bibliothèqueMy "Your Library" collection is my listing of books that I physically own. I consider this my main collection. My other collections are fun stuff for my own entertainment (but you are welcome to browse in them if you feel so inclined).

Wishlist = I know that I want to buy it.
Check out = It seems interesting, but I don't know yet whether I want to buy it.
Decide = I own it, but I haven't decided yet whether I want to keep it.

Haha, yea, I seem to have fallen behind! ...guess I'll have to work overtime today. :)
I know what you mean. I can't possibly visit LT and not tag atleast a few books...though it usually turns into 10 or 11...or 35.

And I see you've pulled back ahead of me again! :)
If you would kindly stop playing the CoverGuess game and passing me up all the time, that would be greatly appreciated. =P
Hi Slyvia,
Yes, I am indeed reading The Toll Gate. I agree with you that lead is quite a charming guy and very likable. He is kind, has a killer sense of humor and somehow manages to get his sense of adventures in. Have you read Sylvester? I listened to the audio book last year and it was very, very good. It was read by a very engaging narrator and the characters were surprisingly deep, Sylvester especially.

And now that you have confirmed that that is indeed your library, I do indeed hate you :)

Any other Heyer you would recommend? I have read Charity Girl, Sylvester and I am reading The Toll Gate and The Unfinished Clue.

Take care. Talk to you soon.
Trish
Okay I am just going to have to hate you on principle if you tell me that picture is of your real library. I wish I had that much space to arrange me books all together like that.

Anyway just wanted to say hi. You have such a varied and interesting library.

Patricia
Thanks Sylvia! I notice that we share some favorite authors. I just finished Heyer's The Foundling today and enjoyed it very much! And my last book before that was Sayers' Whose Body. I see I will have to add you to my interesting libraries as well! :)
Just opened my Secret Santa books. Great choices! Thanks so much. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. / John Burlinson
I am so happy you like the book. It was great fun going through your library. I came away with some great books to add to my TBR pile. Happy Holidays! Lori
I haven't read the newest Montgomery book yet...I plan on starting it next week, so I will let you know how I feel about it!
Cool! I play 12 string guitar and bass, but I'm primarily a singer...we have a very casual band going with some friends and do a lot of old time rock, but I love folk music, too. Most music, actually!

I am very attached to my collection. If I love a book, I want to own it, and usually re-read it. I am like you in that I very physical with my books...sorting, holding, sharing, etc. They are all in order by author and/or subject. I like to be able to put my hands on the book I want right now. If I want information I'd rather find it in a book. There is something so satisfying in turning a page and finding what you want.
Thank you :-) I thought so too, when I figured it out. At first I thought it was The Silmarillion, but it couldn't have been because of the dates. Then I found an old slide that my dad had worked the painting from, and saw which book it was.

You and I obviously have similar tastes, judging by our libraries...your shelves could almost be mine, except that mine are white!
