Have you read Stepsisters for Lorna yet? I don't think it's as good, but at least I get a namesake who has some vestige of a personality! (Most of EBDs Rosemarys are one-liner virtuous types.)
Hi Claire,
Thank you for making a comment. Non-giveaway-related comments are rare on my profile so it was a nice surprise. Children's books are awesome, I still love many of them as much as I did when I was little and some even more. I can appreciate some great writing better now that I'm older, even if it's great writing for children. I didn't think I could keep track of the books I read until I took up a communal challenge on http://www.the-cbb.co.uk/forum/ (it's for Chalet School fans). I found it much easier because I was making note of them on a website as I went along. I'm still doing my list over there. I also re-tag/ catalogue my books as I go along. I put the books I've just read in a pile on my desk next to the computer and then tag them by month on LT. Hence tags like 'July 2009 reads'. That sounds a lot more disciplined than I usually feel, lol.
