My library contains all kinds of books, most of them in the genres contemporary, literary and romance. For some reason a lot of my favorite books and writers are danish, norwegian and american. In general I am not fond of historical fiction and crime/thrillers unless they are in the domestic noir category.

I love books that make me think, laugh and cry - preferably all of the above! And I am sucker for good language, too - if a book is superior in language, it does not necessarily have to have a plot at all to suit me! I guess that could be one of the reasons why I love short stories so much, they are so concise and to-the-point.
