Our Collection is open to our students in before, after, and daytime programs.

Maryland International School for Sustainability and Technology or MISST is a full day,private or non-public school licensed by MSDE for ages 5 to 18 years old or grades Kindergarten through high school.

• Constructivist Framework-Our programs are designed on the constructivist model meaning students construct meaning to the world and learn through their own experiences first and then staff build from there.

• Integrated and Project Based Learning- our Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in integrated in real-world project-based learning.

• Individualized or Tailored learning plans-Instead of a one-size fits all approach. We will tailor or individualize every students’ education plan! Using Florida Virtual School’s Global Campus, students will benefit from a hybrid program that we will tailor to meet your child’s learning needs and plans.

• Computer Science Exploration-students will begin to explore the hardware components of computers, learn to code, and program robots that align to the Maryland Computer Science Standards and Practices.

• Hands-on Learning-we don’t just show them, we give them the objects and want them to learn from their own experiences. Science, Math, Technology, and Computer Science are subjects that have valuable hands-on experiences with the materials that deeper understanding of concepts.
