thewordygecko: A stunning book about the lives of the women who were murdered by the Ripper; not the horrible murders themselves, but the women's lives, as much as the author could discover from her research. Reveals the injustices and prejudices and misogyny of the era in which they lived. Grateful to the author for giving these women some voice and making them 'real' people, without the sensationalism.
