Greek Homosexuality par K J Dover
Fairly detailed methodical description and analysis of homosexuality in Ancient Greece. Scholarly, detailed and academic but not beyond a lay person to read.

Looks at the law, manifestatio of eros and nature and society. Good, if somewhay dry, read.

Not a lot wrong with it, except perhaps for some dodgy vase interpretations. It needs to be more explicitly a work of lit crit, probably, being pretty strong on the subjects of Aischines and Plato.

Ancient Greek Literature (Opus Books) par Sir Kenneth Dover
It's one of those books that's got nothing wrong with it. it's just a bit light and forgettable (but then I don't have a very good memory!). I think 3 stars would be a bit mean. Obviously need to read it again.
